I am passionate about interior design and I love to travel. I thought I would combine the two here on my blog by giving you my top ten selection of the most inspiring countries in the world when it comes to interior design and architecture… I will present one country each month, over the next 10 months. This list is of course non exhaustive and rather based on my personal experiences and aspirations.

Israel is a great place for designers who long for industrial interior design inspirations.

High-technology and industrial manufacturing are the country’s major economic sectors. Both inevitably have an impact on local architecture and design with many interior projects proudly displaying building materials rather than concealing them. The result is an uncluttered look with clear straight lines, neutral tones, metal surfaces and glass facades.

Modern industrial design is not limited to residential ventures: the firm Ron Arad Architects, internationally known for combining raw materials and technology to create innovative objects and spaces, is designing ToHa, a large scale office development expected to be Israel’s tallest building once complete.
